The 15th of August two persons, a man and a woman are in the ruins of a cathedral of the aforetime country of Poggioreale, destroyed by the Belice’s earthquake (1968).
They have to meet someone…but who? The woman knits something and the man walks through the cathedral waiting for an order, or maybe a criminal diktat.
Who forces them to remain among the ruins of that “ghost” country? During this agonizing, disturbing and sometimes funny wait, the protagonists of the story show us their life dimension, spotted by that pungent irony that marks people from south, and a fascinating but disquieting Sicily emerges, where smells, colours and “hot pizzini” mix togheter with mysterious and impenetrable “architectures”.
